
This month, we’re forgoing tradition in exchange for a less conventional color for the holidays — plum. Just because we’re headed into winter doesn’t mean we need to keep things dark and dreary. One of my favorite qualities of this hue is how it can be rich and moody, but still bring a dose of delicacy to a space. Paired with a neutral palette, plum can read both sumptuous and inviting, making it our pick for the season. Try introducing it to the table this month, whether it be a set of plum linen napkins, or a plate of roasted figs. We guarantee it’ll catch an eye or two.
